Electronic Carillons and Chime Systems
|
You may be familiar with the sweet soothing sound of chime music coming from a church bell tower. Are there really bells up there? Sometimes, but usually not. To install enough real cast bronze bells to play music on is a serious investment that few churches are able to make.
Typically what you're hearing is what we call an electronic carillon or chime system. These instruments have advanced over the years from struck rods actuated by a piano roll player and amplified like an electric guitar, to record players, to tape machines and finally to digital technology using Compact Discs, and more lately sampled sounds on memory chips.
We have installed thousands of our digital electronic bell carillons since the introduction of the pioneering Model Six, in 1989. Through the years we've listened to our customers, and their wishes have become standard features as we refined and upgraded the operating software. All Chime Master® Carillons include every feature that most churches need. Yes, every model we make. Even in this computer age, people are still amazed at what our electronic carillons will do.
All of the models described on this page are covered by our exclusive Five-Year Golden Warranty. None of our electronic products require any maintenance. All have a proven record of reliability and customer satisfaction. We design and build all of our electronic products, right here in the USA. Bell ringing features such as swinging bells, peals of bells, clock striking with Westminster chiming come on every model at no extra charge.
With several models in our lineup, how do you decide which one is right for you? Consider the following guidelines:
