These instruments have advanced over the years from struck rods actuated by a piano roll player and amplified like an electric guitar, to record players, to tape machines and finally to digital technology using Compact Discs, and more lately sampled sounds and music on memory chips. TheMillennium® Carillon is available in single or multiple voice editions. 4. Do you require custom music or would like to perform hymns to build your own library? The Millennium® Carillon supports additional memory and an optional Recording Librarian to store, title and categorize up to 1000 additional selections. 5. Would you like to preserve and enhance the treasure of real bells? Control of tower bells is another popular option available on the Millennium® Carillon. Your bells can automatically announce the time or call the community to prayer, while the electronic carillon provides musical programs throughout the day. 6.
