There are no discs, hard drives, external chips or memory cards to lose or damage. Onscreen alphabetical title-lookup allows any selection to be performed at any time, in any order. Libraries are pre-cataloged to interface with the SmartAlmanac™ feature to play appropriate selections with no user intervention. Additional music may be licensed and obtained from us over the internet and installed via USB applications. Clock Striking Flexible clock striking is completely programmable over ranges of time and days. Strike the top of the hour, top and bottom or all quarter-hours. Several Chime tunes are available including Westminster, Christus Vincit, Parsifal, Bigelow, Two and Three bell chimes and Nautical Time. Bells (Availability varies by model) Cast Bronze bells, Concert Chimes and Millennium Chimes. Concert Harp and Millennium Harp Bells. Massive tolling bells, a variety of swinging and pealing bells (Real recordings of real swinging bells – not a simulation). Silver models available with only one voice, Gold models allow you to select your favorite of nine voices for either or both Full Carillon or Chime with Harp arrangements. All available voices are selectable for keyboard performance at the touch of a button. SmartAlmanac™ 100–year liturgical calendar automaticaly changes the random music list to play appropriate selections for each season. Includes Lent, Easter, Marian, US Patriotic, Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas. Each season can be individually enabled or disabled. Automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (including new dates for 2007). Options for Eastern Orthodox and expanded US Patriotic Holidays. Scheduler Common sense, easy-to-set weekly schedule can play any selection at any time. Random music selections can be set once and will choose appropriate music, season after season, year after year. Easy carry-forward function allows you to program a fairly complex weekly schedule in under two minutes. We can even program the system for you before shipment - the schedule resides in non-volatile memory and will play on time after you power the system up. With the USB applications, we could even e-mail you a schedule to download to the system. Scheduled-AutoLevel™ You can program the volume level for different times of day. Each quarter-hour can be set to one of eight different levels. The Global Programming menu allows you to program a range of times over several days in one easy operation. ZoneAutoMute™ Set the scheduled programs to play Inside/Outside or Both. Set the remote control functions to play Inside/Outside or Both. The keyboard will play Inside only or Inside and Outside. You can have special events in the church without being interrupted by clock striking. The front panel indicates at a glance which speakers are active. Remote Control with Programmable Functions Remotely activate any bells, start music, even control the keyboard! Four programmable functions plus PLAY and STOP. When you stop the swinging bell, it sounds just like you let go of the rope. You can stop a hymn after the first refrain and it decays naturally right where you stopped it. Program the toll to instantly ring each time you press PLAY. Keyboard Connection All models feature a MIDI compatible keyboard input. Some systems include a touch-sensitive keyboard in a rugged steel chassis with matching wood end blocks. An electric pipe organ interface is optionally available. Bell Tuning Defaults to A=440Hz. Can be tuned ±99 cents for keeping in tune with your pipe organ. FLASH Memory Permanent memory for program schedule backup, pre-recorded music and user recordings. Protected against accidental erasure by watchdog circuit. Loading and back-up via USB applications. Warranty Full 5-Years on all carillon parts and components.
