I believe you folks have thought of everything. The versatility of the system and the added remote control make applications virtually unlimited. We had no installation expenses, though we had planned for this. Everything we needed was included, and it was easier to set up than a home stereo! It has been a great pleasure to do business with you. Your courtesy and helpfulness have made this a great experience for us.
I am writing to tell you that I don't think very much of our Chime Master Systems carillon unit. The reason why I don't think very much of it is because I don't have to! Day after day, week after week, season after season, it performs and performs well, and without any thought or prompting from me or anyone else here at St. Paul. From morning to nightfall it strikes the hour and chimes the quarter hour for us and for our community. Four times each day, it offers hymn selections from atop our building, much to the delight of the neighborhood, particularly the teachers and students at East Elementary School across the street. At 6:00 each Saturday evening, it reminds the community that there will be worship the next morning. It calls us to worship, opens our Sunday School, and with a push of our new remote control switch, it sounds a Trinity Bell as, in the sanctuary, our people are offering the Lord's Prayer.
The system was easily set up within a couple of hours, with only one person involved, and has been working flawlessly ever since. Many members have commented on the clarity of the bells and the expanded selection of music that is available. As the one responsible for maintaining the system, I appreciate the lack of maintenance that I've had to perform. On our old system, we were constantly making adjustments for power outages, seasons of the year or time changes. Our Chime Master system has handled all of these tasks automatically. My only involvement after installation of the system has been to adjust our playing schedule to meet the desires of the community or for special events at the church.
We are very pleased with the instrument, with its ease of programming and operating. We greatly appreciated, also, the excellent service and assistance you and your staff afforded us in the initial selection and acquisition of the system.
In less than 45 minutes I had the Chime Master System installed to existing speakers and the sound of bells was once again coming from our church. The installation and operating directions were very easy to understand and follow. Our old system hadn't been playing for about a month before the installation of the new one. Many folks in town had told me how disappointed they were because they hadn't been hearing the bells. Needless to say the responses were many when it started playing. Church members and town folks stopped me on the street to thank me for the wonderful new music they were hearing. I even received telephone calls thanking the church for the new bells.
On behalf of the members of Faith Lutheran Church, I would like to express my appreciation for the high-quality and excellence of the Chime Master Systems carillon. Not only has it added immensely to our worship and presence in the community, but we continue to receive very positive comments from people throughout the area on how much they appreciate the system. We find the system easy to use and are more than pleased with it.
I must confess I was a bit dubious about whether or not certain changes would take place at the proper times. Specifically, I waited in Advent and then Christmas to see if the music would change. It did! Even before that, I made sure I was up early on Sunday morning when the time changed in the Fall. I was afraid it might not do what is was supposed to and the chimes would play too early in the morning. I was wrong! Everything played on schedule! When I tell people about these automatic changes, they are absolutely amazed. Perhaps what people enjoy most is the clarity of sound. It's light years ahead of our old tape system.
The system replaced an old I.T. Verdin system which had broken down numerous times, and was no longer worth repairing. We used the existing tower speakers which made installation a breeze! The hardest part of the installation was carrying the two boxes up two flights of stairs. I thank you for the time spent on the telephone with me, answering questions and offering information on the system. I wish you and Chime Master Systems continued success!
We did appreciate your kind and very prompt service to us. I couldn't believe the short time it took for the system to reach us once the order was placed and there certainly was not much needed to make it operable. Its unique features which are reasonably easy to program - even for computer illiterates like I am - make the Chime Master System very diverse. We look forward to many years of pleasant, uplifting music from 'our bells' and we thank you for making them available to us.
I would like to take a moment to say thank-you for your help in choosing the proper carillon system here at First Baptist Church. Your staff at Chime Master has been very helpful in explaining the system. The trial period was a tremendous too., as it gave our congregation a chance to hear the quality of a Chime Master carillon first hand. The Chime Master system has been a worry-free asset to our church. We found the system very easy to install and began using it as soon as it was unpacked. We feel that our Chime Master system is an asset not only to our church, but also to the surrounding community. Thanks again for all your help.
After six months of use, I have to give the system the highest ratings. It is relatively easy to program and most versatile addition to our ministry. If you can program a VCR, you can easily program the Chime Master and in most instances, once you've programmed it, you can forget about it! It even resets itself when Daylight Saving Time ended! The sound quality is excellent and, in general, we are well-pleased with the overall performance of the system. Since our church had never had a carilon, we did have a couple of complaints from non-churched neighbors who found our original program schedule a bit annoying, but we altered the schedule, changed the volume levels, etc. and have since heard nothing but compliments.
The Chime Master carillon has met all of our expectations. To begin with, it was simple to install. We were concerned about thewattage our speakers and drivers would handle. But everything worked great the first try. We keep the volume at 5 or 6 and you can hear it from quite a distance without any distortion. Quite frankly, it puts everything else in town to shame. It was programmed at the factory to play two random selections at noon and 6:00 pm, and this feature has worked as advertised. Time changed to Daylight Saving when it was supposed to and the randomness changed to Christmas tunes when it was supposed to. Everything has worked as promised.
I can't begin to express my personal thanks as well as the thanks of the entire congregation, for the beautiful bell sounds we are treated to each Sunday. The people living in the neighborhood have also told us that they enjoy the 'bells', and they have become accustomed to listen for them each day. The system has worked flawlessly and re-programming the bells has been done several times and without any problems.
