The beautiful melodies of the Church have been ringing out over Sac City for several months now and we could not be more pleased! The carillon you installed is exactly what we were hoping for. There are so many features we enjoy so much: * its versatility in playing a wide range of hymns and liturgical music, * its automation; we set it and it goes, even adjusting itself to and from daylight saving time. * its ability to play randomly or programmed to play what we want it to play. * its beautiful sound.
We are so thankful that you took the time to come to an out of the way area like Pittsfield and demonstrate your Chime Master System. We are thankful that you left them with us for a trial time of approval. Our congregation was impressed immediately with the sound. Not only is our church impressed, but we have heard nothing but positive remarks from our little community of 4200. Again, thanks for coming our way.
When we received the list of tunes that could be played, we were sure we would use only the religious tunes, however ... our Music Director also directs our Children's Theatre which recently featured the Wizard of Oz. About 15 minutes before the performance, the chimes rang out with Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Since we had sent flyers advertising the event around the neighborhood, everyone knew the performance was about to start. The arriving audience loved it! The children were thrilled at the spectacular beginning to their play.
This is in reply to your phone inquiry of the other day. Although you said call if there are any problems, I wanted to write to let you know that there are no problems at all. I have been more than satisfied in all our dealings with you from the first phone call on. The quality you have put into each part of the unit shows, from the wood of the cabinet to the very pleasant music. Even at high volume levels the bells and music are a joy to listen to. After understanding the programming method, I also enjoyed the simplicity of that aspect. Your system is very much appreciated here.
The product is first-rate! It's just what we needed, it's friendly to use and arrived pre-programmed exactly as we requested. We are so happy with our new Chime Master carillon, and with the prompt, competent services your company and Chris Duffy provided for us. The tone of the chimes is lovely and the selection of hymns much to our liking. Every day since its installation, someone has either called or sent us a note saying how much he or she is enjoying the beautiful renditions.
I introduced Chime Master to another local pastor who also was looking to repair and upgrade his carillon. This pastor, a musician himself, had spent months listening to and appraising other systems. He bought the Chime Master System within a day after hearing it. It was the best sound, and by far the best price, he had come across. Since our system has been in place, I have had nothing but compliments from my priest friends who have ehard it. One pastor, who is in the process of building a new church has already told me that he will be installing a Chime Master system in the new structure. This all may sound too good to be true, but I can assure you I do not exaggerate in the least!
Our church members have been complimentary of choices of music that you have included as well as the way those pieces are played. We have used the tolling feature at funerals, and this has been impressive to family members. Use of existing tower speakers from the old system made installation a breeze, but you installed our new system in an unbelievably short period of time. Your system replaced one that had broken down numerous times and was a real chore to keep operational. It was no longer working due to destruction by lightning. Thank you for a very good installation job. The tonal quality is impressive due to a sharp, clear, clean tone. The sound is very realistic so that our neighbors think real bells are ringing.
Now that spring is here, people are outside and they hear the bells ringing. Everyone is telling me how beautiful they sound. Neighbors who live within a few blocks are asking me to turn the volume up a little so they can hear them better. (We are presently on a low volume until neighbors get used to them.) We have many churches in our city with bells, but Chime Master has a more mellow, smoother sound. The carillon isn't as clangy or tinny sounding as other brands.
..Yes, we are very satisfied with the carillon and its performance. It is certainly a huge improvement over the tape carillon which we had installed in the 1970's. During the storms and power failures that swept through our area recently, the Chime Master system was not affected in any way and was ready to start chiming as soon as power was restored.
The hearts of our church members were warmed at the sound of our 'bells' ringing again. They are loud and clear and we often have people from the community telling us how good they sound. You have lived up to your reputation. We got more than we could have imagined and they have been maintenance free. The carillon system we bought is much better than the previous one we had. We are also coninuing to discover new things that this remarkable machine is able to do.
We are located in a rural area and the chimes have been heard as far as five miles from the church. No complaints from our neighbors and many positive comments have been received that now many people want to hear the chimes each day.
I would also like to add that only a few days ago, a priest visited us who has travelled all over the world. He stood still in amazement when he heard the beauty of the Chimes as they rang out. He said he thought he was in Europe! Thank you again for all the beauty and prayerful atmosphere with which your Chimes now surround our Monastery and Chapel.
