Chime Master is pleased to announce the completion of the John C. “Jay” Barker Memorial Carillon at the Licking County Courthouse in Newark, OH. Built in 1876 on the public square in Newark, OH and a National Historic Landmark, the courthouse serves as the center of Downtown Newark.
The Chime Master Millennium Carillon installed in the courthouse is equipped with the ability to play MP3 formatted audio files and will be utilized during the yearly lighting of the courthouse during the Christmas season to play Christmas carols in addition to the vast library of Christmas music already recorded in the Millennium Carillon. In addition, the Chime Master Millennium carillon controls the clocks and the historic bronze bell located in the tower.
The Chime Master Millennium Carillon is given voice by an array of InSpire full range speakers and long throw horns. Driven by two US built amplifiers with a combined total power of over 2000 watts, the John C. “Jay” Barker Memorial Carillon will remind Licking County of John C. “Jay” Barker's dedication and service for years to come.
